As our flagship location, our Massapequa clinic is a vibrant, collaborative environment where therapists work alongside a larger team to serve children of all ages and abilities. For more than two decades, Patti Rutledge, OTR/L, and Sara Pereira, MS, OTR/L, have dedicated their careers to helping children build the skills and confidence they need to thrive. Through extensive advanced training in sensory integration, feeding therapy, therapeutic listening, and other specialized pediatric treatment approaches, they’ve built Sensational Development into a trusted resource for children and families throughout Long Island.
Just as importantly, they’ve built a workplace where therapists are encouraged to keep learning, think creatively, and grow into confident clinicians and future leaders. With an approachable, hands-on leadership style, Patti and Sara believe in mentoring their team, celebrating successes, and providing the guidance and support needed to help every team member reach their full potential.
